Co-director
Co-Cinematographer
(Q&A from Official Premiere)
What was your favorite thing about your character?
In many ways, Laurie is a whole lot like me.
How old were you when the production began?
16
What was your favorite thing that you got to do on camera?
Some of the scenes where I got to act with just one other person and there weren't very many crew in the room. The scene with Laurie and Jo in the attic and Laurie and Amy outside are some of my favorites because we really became part of our characters. I also love the short scene with Laurie and Jo having a snowball fight.
What was your favorite thing that you got to do off camera?
Probably being a Director.
What was your least favorite part of the production?
I truly do love every aspect of film, but post-production is particularly hard, especially the ADR's (Additional Dialogue Recording).
What was something about being in the film that you did not expect when you signed on for the project?
What the finished product would be like. I really had no idea how much work we really would put into Little Women. Also I would have never imagined that we would have such fantastic music. Thanks Josh Bauder!!!
What was your favorite line in the whole movie? (that anyone said)
Wow! There are so many lines I could choose from. Some of Jo's lines are just so not what anyone expects her to say, and Aunt March's lines are just so comical. I love the part where Hannah gets mad at Laurie for "stealing" cookies, and I love Amy's line "Stop fidgeting!".
What do you like to do when you're not filming?
With this being my senior year of school, filming really has been close to my only hobby.
What other films/theatrical productions have you participated in?
I have been involved with 3 workshop plays at the local community theatre. I also worked on our past two films: Fellowship of the Ring and Capitol Crimes.
Any final words?
Thank you to everyone who made Little Women possible. It has been a very long process and without everone's dedicated work it would not have been possible.
